Funds From Your Sales May Be Unavailable Error

What’s happening?

Since February 6, 2025, eBay introduced an update to their API behavior. Previously, API responses were classified as either Success or Error. Now, a new response type has been added: `Warning`.

One of the most common warnings you may see is:

"Funds from your sales may be unavailable and show as on hold for a period of time."

What does this mean?

This is not an error and does not affect your product listings. Your product was successfully published or updated on eBay.

The warning is simply eBay’s way of informing you about a potential temporary hold on funds due to internal policies, usually related to seller performance, account history, or other risk checks.

Do I need to do anything?

No action is required on your part.
This is just a notification from eBay. Your listing is live, and everything continues to work as expected through Sellbery.

Why am I seeing this now?

Because of eBay’s API update on February 6, Sellbery now transparently displays all types of responses — including these new Warnings. Our goal is to keep you fully informed about what’s happening behind the scenes.
