Step 1. Connect your channels to Sellbery

Sellbery Service is the core of the Sellbery structure. It is an internal area for creation and management of products on Sellbery. After the initial download of products from external channels, Sellbery Service becomes the source of the modified data from which the listings are exported to other external platforms and marketplaces. Export Service is a functional presentation of a connection between Sellbery and an external sales channel. Every channel connected to Sellbery has its own Export Service area that contains the information about the downloaded products, fields mapping and channel-specific settings. Product is an object with a certain set of properties (product attributes) that describe the product in Sellbery Service. Listing is the description of a product in the Export Service. Product Attribute is a property field that presents a feature of a product (Title, Description, Price, Quantity, etc.). There are two types of attributes on Sellbery - System and Custom. System Attribute is a default internal Sellbery attribute matching the product property with the same meaning or purpose in all supported sales channels (e.g. Title, Description, Price, Image, Quantity, SKU, etc). Custom Attribute is an additional product property created in Sellbery or imported from an external channel. Custom Attribute is specific to a product or group of products on a specific sales channel, and may not match any of the fields common to other sales cha

Click on Add Channel button under Products on the Dashboard to add a new channel to Sellbery.

Choose the necessary channel and click Connect.

Step 2. Download your products to Sellbery

After the sales channel has been connected, your products starts downloading to Sellbery automatically. You can see the list of downloaded products under the Products tab of the corresponding Export Service. The main information about the product is visible in the table, such as product title, SKU, quantity, status of the product in Export Service, category to which the product belongs, description and some other parameters.

Shortcuts

|| Modification of the product data on Sellbery can be done manually or with the help of Shortcuts.

Shortcut is a set of manually configured rules for different Attribute Groups that can be applied to products on Sellbery to modify their properties based on specific conditions.

Shortcuts can be created for each Export Service on Sellbery and applied to the products in that Export Service. The product data is changed automatically based on the rules in the Shortcut.

How to Create Shortcut

We will review the process using eBay store connection as an example.

Go to eBay Settings > Shortcuts and click Edit.

Select the Attribute Group for which a shortcut will be created and click "Create New".

There, you can see the list of Attribute Groups that exist for eBay connection and the number of already existing Shortcuts in front of the group name.

Import Mapping

Import Mapping is the most important step of the product import process on Sellbery. This is a process of linking the attributes of the imported products to the attributes of Sellbery. Based on the mapping setup, the product information is saved in corresponding Sellbery fields then used to create Sellbery products and export listings to other sales channels.

If you wish to change existing mapping rules, follow these steps:

Go to the Settings of Export Service and click Edit on the Import Mapping section..

You will be redirected to the Import Mapping page where you can see the list of all attributes that currently exist on Sellbery, both default and custom ones. Every attribute has a drop-down list of options from which you can select the one that describes the same product property in the store or marketplace from which the products have just been downloaded. There are mandatory and optional attributes. Some of the attributes are mapped automatically by Sellbery system and cannot be edited.

Product Management in Sellbery Service

Sellbery Products

| The Products tab under Sellbery Service is the main place for product management on Sellbery. On this page, you can see the list of items linked to the products imported to Sellbery from different connected channels. You can add new products here as well as edit the existing ones.

The products page allows you to sort the products on the list by Title, SKU, Quantity, Price, Variable attributes, and channels in which these products are already listed. There are also different options by which the products can be filtered, such as Type, Export Service, System tag, or Attribute.

You can also activate/deactivate or delete products on this page.

Edit product

Click on the product you want to manage to see the product edit page in Sellbery Service.

On this page, you can see all the information about the product currently present on Sellbery. All attribute fields can be edited, so you can modify the data imported from external channels as well as fill in the values in empty fields. You can also upload new images, change product quantity and price options, set sale price start and end time, add various product identifiers, and so on.

What is Sellbery?

|| Sellbery is a product listing and inventory management SaaS platform developed by our team. The platform is designed to help online merchants who sell their products on multiple sales channels, such as personal online stores, international marketplaces, social media pages.

Sellbery provides a place where a merchant can manage their listings and orders using a single control panel. Products are imported to Sellbery upon connecting a sales channel to our system by API. After that, you can either send these products to another channel as they are, or copy them to Sellbery Service, make the necessary modifications in their parameters, then upload them to any of the sales channels connected to Sellbery.

Another important feature of Sellbery is a possibility of creating new products. You do not need to have your own store to use Sellbery any more! You can simply create all your products on Sellbery and export them to Amazon, eBay and Etsy automatically.

Sellbery imports the orders from all connected sales channels automatically. This functionality makes it easier for a merchant to monitor the order information from different stores and marketplaces as it eliminates the need of going through multiple store backends to check the orders. Order Management and Fulfillment is not possible on Sellbery at the moment but this functionality will definitely be added in the future versions.
