Product Management in Sellbery Service

Sellbery Products

The Products tab under Sellbery Service is the main place for product management on Sellbery. On this page, you can see the list of items linked to the products imported to Sellbery from different connected channels. You can add new products here as well as edit the existing ones.

The products page allows you to sort the products on the list by Title, SKU, Quantity, Price, Variable attributes, and channels in which these products are already listed. There are also different options by which the products can be filtered, such as Type, Export Service, System tag, or Attribute.

You can also activate/deactivate or delete products on this page.

Edit product

Click on the product you want to manage to see the product edit page in Sellbery Service.

On this page, you can see all the information about the product currently present on Sellbery. All attribute fields can be edited, so you can modify the data imported from external channels as well as fill in the values in empty fields. You can also upload new images, change product quantity and price options, set sale price start and end time, add various product identifiers, and so on.

You can also control the number of sales made for this product on every channel to which it was exported via Sellbery and see the list of channels to which the product has not been exported yet.

The most important actions available on the edit product page are shown in the top right corner: Activate/Deactivate, Export To, Duplicate and Delete.

If you would like to delete a product from Sellbery Service, you will see a pop-up where you should select one of the following:

Delete product in Sellbery Service only (it will remain in External Service and shop listing.
Delete product in Sellbery Service and in External Service (it will remain in the shop listing).
Delete product in Sellbery Service, in External Service, and External System (remove from shop listing).

Duplicating a product would make its identical copy without links to external services and SKU number in a draft.

Add Product

When you click Add product you need to select the type of product you wish to create - simple or variable.

A simple product is a standalone item that does not have any options that a buyer can select (e.g. color or size).

A variable product consists of a parent product which presents the general product information, and product variations which present specific features that buyers can select before ordering the product (e.g. a T-shirt sold in different colors and sizes would be a variable product where 'T-shirt' is a parent product and every possible color-size combination is a product variation).

There is no possibility to create variable products on Sellbery at the moment! This functionality will be implemented in the future Sellbery versions.

Once the product type has been selected, you can see the create product page where the product information needs to be filled in. There are mandatory and optional fields, and the list of optional fields can be extended by adding attributes or shortcuts from the drop-down list.

If you are working on a variable product you need to fill in the attributes for the parent product first, then proceed to create product variations.
Every product variation page has the same set of fields and properties to fill in.

Remember to save the product data by clicking the "Save as draft" or "Create" button at the bottom of the page. The "Create" option will make an active product while "Save as draft" will correspondingly create a draft product page. You will need to fill in all required attributes to save the product as active; otherwise, it can be saved as a draft only (this applies to importing as well: all imported products that do not have required attributes filled in will be saved as drafts).

As soon as your work with the products on this page is complete and the product is active and ready for export, you can click "Export to" and select the Export Service to which this product will be sent. After that, go to the Products tab under the necessary Export Service and upload the product to the connected channel to export or update the listing.
